Private international law: conflict of states

International law is of two types: 

1. Private International Law: Jus inter gentes- Convention and Agreement between nations 

They are mostly applicable to business. ( Globalization)

2. Public international Law:  Jus gentium- law of nations. 

Kyoto Protocol ( International Agreement on climate change)
